How to use Citibank to make online bill payment

In Citibank, online payment is a simple way of payment, which can save you time and money.

Everything starts with your Citibank online dashboard. You’ll see the navigation bar near the top of the page, click the Payment and Transfer tab to expand the menu options, and select Add Bill Recipient from the Quick Link menu.

On the Add Recipient page, you will be able to fill out all the information needed to set up a new recipient in the list, and you can set up any recipient, utility credit card bill, or even a doctor. Here, we are adding a new business.

First, choose whether you want to pay for credit card or other business. First, select the type of business you want to pay for, and then enter the company name and the account number associated with the company.

We simplify this process by connecting you to the merchants in our merchant catalog, so you can fill in most of the information in advance. Click the right merchant to add it to the list of payees. If this is the right merchant, click Next, you can create a name for the payee so that you can easily identify the payee page from the list of payees.

This confirmation screen will collect all the details of the new payee. After verifying all the information, you can click Add this recipient to add it to your list, and you will receive information confirming that the recipient has been successfully added.

If you have set up the payee from the Payment and Transfer page, click the Payment Order menu to see a list of available options, then click Create One-Time Payment Options, and click the selected payee.

Next, specify the amount you want to send and when you need to pay, and you can also use the memo to mark the payment for your own personal records so that you can easily refer to the transaction as needed in the future.

When you’re ready, click the next button, and you’ll receive a confirmation pop-up window before your payment ends, so you can make sure the amount sent is correct. If all information is correct, click OK. After confirmation of payment, you will see the transaction summary screen.

If you need a receipt, click the View Record button, and your receipt will be displayed in a new window that you can print at your convenience.
